Ksenia Maiorova created Virtu as a way to blend her abilities and experience as an artist with her love for fashion. Her pursuit has led her to create a line of jewelry inspired by art from beginning to end. Ksenia implements her background as an illustrator in all of her jewelry designs with an effort to make pieces that compliment a woman’s natural beauty. She enjoys being able to express her art by making jewelry inspired by the senses. Touch, see, smell, hear and taste.

Each piece is literally one of a kind.  It starts with a stone (or stones) that are always hand picked for quality, color, and luster. A design is then drawn using the stone(s) as the focus. Gold and Silver pieces made by artisans known as vermeil gold (925 sterling silver dipped in 24 KT) and Bali silver are then used to compliment the stone(s) around a gold filled or sterling silver chain.

Virtu jewelry is meant to be everyday wearable art. Exploring and experimenting with colors, shapes and new materials is the main goal.
